Head Middle & Upper School Librarian, The Buckley School, Sherman Oaks, California
Support a K-12 college preparatory school campus community as the lead librarian. Manage a 2,200 square foot single level library facility that serves middle and upper school students. Facility is equipped with 4 group study rooms, 40 computers, 3 printers, approximately 10,000 books, and has a capacity for 80 students. The facility is open 10 hours a day. Also serve annually as a student advisor to mentor upper school students, chaperone outdoor education trips annually (Santa Barbara, Joshua Tree, canoeing the Russian River). Assist with various annual school productions. I was the assistant librarian from 08-09 and have served as the head librarian from 2009 to present. Other duties include:

* President. Independent School Library Exchange-Group Access Project (now SoCalIs). 2011-12
* Search committee member for Upper School Principal, Spring 2011
